Our Services

We create prototype pieces for robotic, heavy and domestic machinery used in the aeronautic, automobile, medical, security and defence industries in Israel, Spain and across Europe.

We can create parts ranging from 20mm to 600mm in size.

We work with a huge variety of metals and can also produce prototypes using plastics.

How We Work

We are always excited to be approached by a potential new customer and we will always do our best to offer every client an excellent level of service. We do this through constant and clear communication through which we can identify all of the relevant points of the project.

Our decades of experience means that we can be a great asset to you especially when we are considering the feasibility of the production. If we see a potential issue we will bring it to your attention, and more often than not, offer you a solution at the same time. We use a 360° approach when we are in the consultation stage and we invite all of our team to participate in each project.

Our Pledge

We will always keep your interests in the forefront of the project, and we will always communicate clearly and in a timely fashion.

We won’t take a step without you beside us.

Our Manufacturing Tools

Depending upon the prototype we will use any or all of the technology available to us at AVIT.

CMM Machine: Quality Assurance Technology

Electrical Discharge Machining

Engraving CNC

Grinding Machines: Surface & Round

Lathes

Milling CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) and Conventional Machines

What is EDM?

EDM stands for Electrical Discharge Machining which is a type of method used to machine conductive materials, including hard metals, which are difficult or dangerous to work using other more traditional techniques.

What is CNC?

CNC stands for “Computerised Numerically Controlled” which is a type of manufacturing process using computer software and code in the movement of production equipment. CNC machining is used with a range of complex machinery: grinders, lathes and turning mills, all of which are used to cut, shape and create different prototypes.

What is CNC Engraving?

CNC engraving describes the process of carving into a hard surface using CNC technology.

What is CMM?

CMM stands for “Coordinate Measuring Machine” which measures the geometry and size of a physical object using a laser probe. We use these in our Quality Assurance processes to ensure the piece is of the required size.

What is 5-Axes?

This refers to the directions in which our cutting tools can move. On a 5-axes machining centre the cutting tool can move across the X, Y and Z axes, as well as rotate on the A and B axes which means it can approach the piece in any direction.

What is Surface Grinding?

This is done to flat surfaces to produce a smooth finish using an abrasive wheel which chips the piece leaving it with an even surface.

What is Round Grinding?

This is a method where the piece is held firmly in a vice against a grinding wheel to the required size and surface finish.
